Project Management Team (PMT)

Chaired by the FROM – E.T.S. Coordinator of Clinical Operations is responsible for the operational management of the project and carries out assessments of the technical feasibility and economic sustainability of the proposed projects (which include availability of economic, technical, and technological resources and man time).

PMT has planning responsibility for individual studies within the OPERA project (collecting study proposals and forwarding them to the Scientific Committee, proposing the agendas of the meetings of the Scientific Committee and the General Assembly, organizing them and coordinating the communications).

Scientific Committee (SC)

Chaired by the Coordinators, the SC is responsible for the scientific and strategic management of the project; must be convened periodically to preliminarily approve the individual projects that are proposed, monitor the progress of the research, and review the results.

General Assembly (GA)

GA is a flexible advisory body, composed of all Researchers involved, whose number is expected to increase over time, with the acquisition of additional data records from new centres within the broader OPERA project. Chaired by the head of the SC, and with the participation of the PMT, the GA acts as a sounding board for the strategic orientations of the project, based on the scientific results and the evolution of the project, technical problems, and ethical considerations. The GA meets annually.
